Designity Challenge:

Avver.AI

Hello Designity Team,

My name is Michael N. Phillips. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be in this process.

We are teaming up with artificial intelligence (Ai) to effortlessly and fairly find the best talent and provide great opportunities to every human.

On this page, you will find the mood board and the video presentation. You can click this link to download the brief I’ve prepared.

I hope to join your team, and I look forward to hearing back soon.

Once again, Thank you.

Web Design

From the Brand Identity & Webdesign, the visual direction we will go is similar to these other brands: Figma, Notion, Headspace, Peachy Insurance, Mailchimp, Adobe, and Duolingo.

And Jason Polan’s, Every Person in New York.

The illustration adds humanness to the brand, making it more approachable. It distracts away from any “Sci-Fi” predispositions someone may initially have.

Just like headspace’s characters playfully remove the mysticism from meditation and guidance.

An important creative note here, in the photos of Notion’s illustrated graphics, they had various team members illustrated as well. Similiarly we will do the same but representing a variety of people demographics.

We want to showcase the magic and wonder in using AI in the hiring space.

The life-like portraits and various pictures are works of art created by AI in a program called Mid-Journey. One possibility in the design or marketing phase is presenting the incredible developments of AI in creative space deemed only possible for humans.

Ai Interviews allow limitless possibilities for who interviews, how they interview, and what they experience. One example is If your best software developer is from Romania and would better communicate in Romanian — they would have that ability, and Ai would translate the information, and you would still receive the information that matters most.

Not only could you interview individuals regardless of language, but you also could interview people across time zones, or whenever is most convenient for them.

The possibilities are endless.

In the branding, communication and design we are looking to create with some of these attributes: Feminine, Approachable, Fun, Friendly, Happy, Creative, Boundless, Sensitive, Compassionate, Feminine, Latest, Fashionable, Sophisticated, Trendy, Easy-going, Informal, Clear, Straightforward.

While much of tech, and Avver.Ai’s competitors are all following similar patterns to their web designs, we are simply adding more fun, friendly, human, creative, and purpose-driven aspects to the industry standard.

For reference: Figma, Headspace, and Notion are great examples of subtle animation and motion graphics throughout their web designs that are both helpful in making the tool feel easily accessible and helpful.

The autonomous nature of the challenge leaves out some of what would be used in a real-world creative direction meeting, Here are some of my initial ideas and notes when reading the brief. In a normal run-through with a team, I would’ve drawn these out in real time while explaining.

Please excuse my terrible-hand writing as I didn’t consider these may be used upon taking notes.
